Confessions of a GP book review

Confessions of a GP I bought this on my Kindle last week and it was one of the best 'quick reads' I have ever read. It is written by a GP in England who gives us a view into his world and each chapter is about a patient with a funny/heart warming story or just general interesting things about GP's.

I really enjoyed reading this ebook and it was only 99p from Amazon so great value for what you get. The best thing about this book is that it makes you laugh out loud, now i read loads of book reviews that say 'this book made me laugh out loud' and then i go and read it and it doesnt, I am really easy to make laugh so i think sometimes people just say this for the sake of it, HOWEVER this book literally made me laugh. You get to see some of the wacky situations this GP gets into and the hilarious 'issues' that some of his patients complain about.

I would say about 75% of the book is his stories of patients, whilst the rest is a mix of interesting bits about what its like to be a GP and the politics surrounding it. He also answer in a chapter issues currently in the papers about their wages amongst other things, which was really eye opening and i now have more respect for my local doctor than i normally did.

All in all a fantastic great read which i highly recommend!
